End of the Road Festival Preview

31 August – 2 September 2012 Larmer Tree Gardens, Dorset

The End of the Road Festival has just informed us they are to play host to a 15th anniversary celebration with the ever-wonderful Bella Union label.

Set up in 1997 by Robin Guthrie and Simon Raymonde, this celebration will see them curate Friday’s line up, in a growing bill that includes the following acts: Alessi’s Ark, Beach House, I Break Horses, John Grant, Lanterns On The Lake, The Low Anthem, Midlake, Mountain Man, Veronica Fall.

They join a weekend lineup that also includes Grizzly Bear, Tindersticks, Delicate Steve, Doug Paisley, Driver Drive Faster, First Aid Kit, Frank Fairfield, Jeffrey Lewis and the Junkyard, Justin Townes Earle, Moulettes, Outfit, Richard Buckner, Robert Ellis, Robyn Hitchchock, Sleep Party People, Stranded Horse and The Strange Boys.

The festival, now in its seventh year, having recently won Best Small Festival at the 2011 UK Festival Awards following an amazing year with a critically lauded lineup led by Beirut, Joanna Newsom and Mogwai.
