LFW: Eudon Choi

With fur mittens, Eskimo parkas, woolens, leather and a focus on coats, this was certainly one of the most wintry collections shown for autumn/winter 2012. With a palette of white, turquoise, greys, ice blues and  navys and other elements such as sailor stripes and pilot hats, there was an undeniable arctic theme of polar proportions. During the presentation models gazed out of binoculars with a projected backdrop of rocks and sea, they appeared to be on some expedition which they had made the effort to be nicely turned out for. The tailoring was strong, with pencil skirts, structured jackets and trousers as well as all the panelling detail and with sequin embellished tops and skull caps, the look was smart, practical and luxe.
