There are plenty to choose from these days even if there are a lot of rubbish ones about. Luckily, Lovebox is not one of them. Now in its 10th year, this festival has shown how it’s possible to grow without turning into a corporate humpfest at the same time.
The line-up is incredible too. They have somehow managed to mix together huge acts and small ones and mash them together to create an auditory piece of genius. Some of the bigger acts playing are Chaka Khan and Grace which is going to be incredible. Plus Mika (not so incredible) and Lana del Rey. They’ve also managed to get some of the coolest musical acts such as James Murphy from the now defunct LCD Soundsystem and also Felix Da Housecat who in terms of nonchalant coolness is on level with Humphrey Bogart.
There are plenty of other incredible artists playing, encompassing a wide range of genres and with a weekend ticket price of only £99, there isn’t really an excuse not to go.
