From 29th June to 22nd July, the fourth International Youth Arts Festival will be taking place in Kingston-Upon-Thames. The festival is the UK’s premier international showcase for new work from outstanding young arts producers.
The International Youth Arts Festival offers unique and unparalleled access to some of the most exciting up-and-coming talent not only in the UK, but around the world. It is a platform for developing talent in the fields of theatre, dance, art, film and circus to exhibit their skills. This year’s festival also plays host to three Cultural Olympiad projects, staking its claim as part of the international arts scene. For the first time, this year also sees a week of participatory projects and workshops at the helm of the events, offering inspiring access to the creative industries.
Past participants in the International Youth Arts Festival have gone on to perform at the Edinburgh Festival, and it is an exciting opportunity to witness burgeoning talent for the first time. So head on down to Kingston for a taste of international talent right here in the UK.
