Toronto-based foursome Bravestation are back with the second track off their soon to be released debut album Giants & Dreamers.
Continuing the trademark tribal sound of the band’s music and the Bacchanalian ritual theme that characterized the video for their earlier single Signs of the Civilized, Western Thrills: A Bravestation Story takes us on a journey into a forest with some very young newcomers to the tribe.
This, from Bravestation themselves:
‘The Little Mystic Warriors were believed to have been the adopted sons and daughters of a philosophic artisan who practiced magic and science on an island off of the Western Shores. Prior to his passing away during The Great Flood, he developed a Glowing Green Apple on his orchard that gave eternal youth to those who ate it.
The young tribe must protect themselves and their island from external threats that come in the form of an aging generation of hunters and gatherers who have survived the flood and threaten to ruin what is most sacred to them: their land, life and way of thinking.
“Hunters would love what we have”
The album Giants & Dreamers is available to pre-order now and is released on July 10th.
