Last month saw the opening of the UK exclusive Louis Vuitton Kusama concept store at Selfridges in London: a collaboration which combines the premium craftsmanship of the Louis Vuitton brand with the illustrious talents of Japanese artist, Kusama. The collection features a series of must-have handbags, ready-to-wear, travel bags, shoes and accessories, all featuring Kusama’s iconic bright, repetitive patterns.
To run alongside the concept store, which will be open until 19th October 2012, Louis Vuitton has also joined forces with fashion and film creatives, ‘White Lodge’, who’ve created “Spot the Difference”: two playful short films starring fashion blogger and style icon, Bip Ling. Whilst Bip, dressed head to toe in pieces from the collection moves doll-like to disjointed music and verses of a poem by Kusama called “Love Forever”, viewers are invited to literally spot the differences between the two films, which were directed by Ehsan Bhatti.
The two short films can be found through the links below; can you spot the difference?
