Review: K&G & CO and SNEAKER CROWNS

It’s that time of the year when the Iceland Christmas adverts come out. You know, Michael Buble doing the soundtrack to a Vienetta and  red ribbon profiterole. Putting festive niggles aside (the Spindle Panto is an obvious exception), the lust for sparkle this season will never grow old in our eyes. And on our wish list is jewellery and accessories from designer Guillermo Andrade, the man behind KG&CO and Sneaker Crowns. The first line has that antique artisan technique and quality about it, with keys, guns and an oomph of Egyptian in necklace designs to name a few. It calls out for the glitzy girl that has a taste for simple and chic with that hint of mystery.

Sneaker Crowns offers footstep freedom to set your shoes aside from the busy boxing day crowd at the mall. This accessory line includes wigs, dolla signs, mushrooms, boomboxes and butterflies, giving you the chance to be playful with your footwear and add that personalised spring in your step. Basically, you can make yourself bling from head to toe while you watch your nan making a mess of jenga after a bucks fizz or two.
