LFW: Scandanavian Invasion

It’s a Scandinavian Invasion! During London Fashion Week, Somerset House opened its grand doors to a lounge by RENOUVE that had a slumber party showroom of labels and designers from Denmark, Norway and Sweden. You know there’s a buzz about it when Zandra Rhodes had this to say:

‘When we had the Swedish Show at the Fashion and Textile Museum in 2009, I was amazed at the freshness and newness of ideas. Obviously here are inspirational winds. We cannot afford to ignore this talented wave of edgy newcomers from Denmark, Norway and Sweden’.

From the taster of these images, it’s clear that this is fashion with zing, spark, a patchwork of the surreal, and something that London will eat up in an instant.
