Marshall Artist’s Spring/Summer Collection showcases a blend of vintage British Tailoring with traditional Japanese work-wear, while adding a burst of textured, lightweight layering to the mix. There is a clear 1950’s feel that runs throughout especially in the standout knitwear and shirting styles, showing they are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to Men’s tailoring design.
The gorgeous subdued hues used are reminiscent of a ‘classic British outdoors’. With a colour palette ranging from forest green to woodland brown teamed with the obligatory classic navy, charcoal and burgundy, it really is chic perfection. A spring/summer collection wouldn’t be complete without a pop of colour, which Marshall Artist includes in the form of salmon pink, light purple, olive green and sky blue.
With an ever-expanding knowledge and devoted love for custom-made fabrics Marshall Artist introduces the ‘dry wax’ cotton canvas. This new fabrication has the aesthetical appeal of their classic bees wax cotton canvas but is light-weight and machine washable, making it ideal for spring.
In addition to the dry wax cotton canvas, key fabrics for Spring / Summer include custom made lightly brushed cotton check shirting of exceptional quality and the new loose knit slub french terry cotton fleece which has a soft and comfy butter on your body feel.
Cotton chambrays are a staple this season. Keeping it casual for spring, chambray shirting features denim finishes with raw, stonewashed and bleach-washed looks.
A comprehensive range of vintage inspired printed swim shorts also features with prints including Hawaiian floral, broad horizontal stripes, camouflage and polka dots.
The Marshall Artist aim is to produce socially relevant menswear that is ultra wearable while showcasing their British eccentricities. “Modern Tailoring for Modern People” is their aspiration, which has been fulfilled faultlessly.
