Preview: In The Woods

In The Woods is possibly the hottest independent music festival being put on this year. It has caused quite a stir amongst those ‘in the know’ festival goers. Perfect for people seeking that ultimate vibesy party with an intimate atmosphere and fresh music talent, this is without a doubt the place to be at the end of August.

The festival’s previous years boast an impressive line-up of talented artists being practically plucked from obscurity: Alt-J, Lianne La Havas, Micachu, Lucy Rose and Aluna George to name a few. This year’s line-up will not be released; the creative team intend to uphold the air of mystery that has earned the festival such an avid cult following and made In The Woods a hit in the industry.

Once you arrive at the secret location – tucked away in a stunning forest in Kent – the weekend of enchantment and debauchery begins. There is an array of exciting amusements to get your teeth stuck into over the course of the weekend. While frolicking around and partying amongst the ambient-lit forest canopy, you will stumble upon creative art installations, locally sourced food and ale, a silent disco, a cinema and of course, an enormous bonfire- that perfect chill out spot for watching an epic dream-like sun rise. Need we say more? This is a festival that should not be missed.

When: 30th August- 1st September
