Filmed and directed by Dazed & Confused videographer, Katia Ganfield, Arrows of Love today release the official video for their new single ‘The Knife’.

Due to a series of locations fails and spooky mishaps which meant the video almost didn’t make the cutting room floor, the video, which is brutal, captivating and at times an uncomfortable watch, has now made it for release. Check it out here:

Despite its folky vibe, the song itself is an emotional blood-splattered murder ballad that reveals a band with a tar-black heart.  Singer/guitarist Nima Teranchi, who has produced the new track from their forthcoming album Everything’s Fucked (to be released this Summer), has explained, “‘The Knife’ is a picture of bitterness after an unhealthy relationship. It’s the feeling of powerlessness and twisted obsession, that leads to a kind of vengefulness, and a story where both main characters are sat in their own worlds thinking the same things – feeling out in the cold while the other one seems fine. That dark ability to open wounds is the only thing they have.

‘The Knife’ was co-engineered by Rory Attwell of Kasms / Test Icicles / Warm Brains and Tim Cedar of Part Chimp. This single, released digitally and on ltd edition 7” was also co-mixed by Richard Warren and mastered from Bob Weston of Shellac for ultimate sound performance.
