In a new feature for Spindle, our editor Heather is interviewing the designers she loves and uses a lot on photo shoots. Here she catches up with designer Roberto Piqueras.
Tell me about your brand, how long have you been going and how did you
get into designing?
My first collection was launched February 2007 in Madrid and I get into designing because I knew I wanted to be involved with a creative job and with fashion you can be into different techniques as art, music, cinema, tv, science, etc.. I started play violin when I was 9…
What do you have planned for your next collection?
Lot of spanish inspiration, art culture and flowers… that’s all I can say till September.
What are your aims for the brand?
Right now my aims for the brand are talk about this society and arrive to young people to comunicate new ideas of freedom.
Who’s your target customer?
Young people between 15 & no limits.
Where are your stockists?
Tokyo, Toronto, Los Angeles, NY, Berlin, Taipei, Macau, Hong Kong, Miami, Sydney, Online…
