Position of the Week: The Doorway Stretch

There’s only one way to REALLY unwind and stretch after a day at the office…

The Doorway Stretch
This is a fantastic stretch if you’ve been hunched over a desk all day, designed to open and the chest and pull back the shoulders.

1. Stand in an open doorway with both arms outstretched to either side, forearms against the doorframe.
2. Stand tall and vertical, squeezing your shoulder blades back and down.
3. Keeping this posture, step forwards, allowing your arms to be gently stretched back.
4. Hold for 20 seconds, then push further into the stretch for another 20 seconds.
