Launched in 2012, Perry Nelvill is an online boutique that sells the work of recently graduated fashion and textile designers. It aims to nurture and establish graduate designers creative identity by having no ‘market-led’ constraints. As a result Perry Nelvill sells garments which are bold, brave and individual. It is like no other online boutique I know, encouraging British craftsmanship as well as offering customers one-of-a-kind pieces. From Aimee Jane Ward’s Siren’s coatto Alexia Longman’s glow in the dark men’s shell jacket, Perry Nelvill is bursting with talent. Jacob Birge, who has shown at LFW and been nominated for the WGSN Emerging Fashion Brand Award, is also available to buy. His Resort 2014 Collectionwhich includes some beautifully cut leather dresses and futuristic visors is definitely worth a look at.
What’s also great about Perry Nelvill is that you can buy some incredible fabric prints. My two favourites are Natasha Jackson’s peeping goat print and the more eccentric prints of David Warner such as his Emu Mammoth.
