Whilst the casual check shirt has been around for a while it seems that this season traditional check got an upgrade. Think bright clashing patterns, check placement and a check-on-check suit. Zara have even got a check poncho (for men) on sale – maybe a bit much.
Whilst I’m not asking you to know the different types of check (plaid, gingham, tartan, tattersall – the list goes on) or wear a kilt inspired skirt like the model below, check is an easy way to inject colour into your wardrobe. There is no harm in experimenting with a slightly bolder pattern this season.
