Duchamp London presents The Modern Dandy with The Sartorial 7

A very, very wise man once said that a well-tailored suit is to women what lingerie is to men and the new Duchamp collaboration with the Sartorial 7 proves exactly that.

The London based company, established in 1989, was named after artist Marcel Duchamp, who “turned everyday objects into art”, and the original owner of the company, Mitchell Jacobs, then claimed to turn “everyday icons of fashion into wearable art”. He certainly wasn’t wrong as the company is renowned for its suave suits, cufflinks and ties designed for men.

Jacobs’ view of producing wearable fashion continues to this day as the company won Designer of the Year at the Scottish Style Awards earlier this month. This exciting win and the new collection, combined with seven gents who each have a unique style but mutual love for for fashion makes for the most epic collaboration known to man – and you get to watch it here.

Filmed by Dom Jamieson in the Electric House, London, the chaps share their picks from the Duchamp AW13 collection and discuss why particular aspects of the clothing suit their dandy style.

Women, get ready to salivate as the men shamelessly flaunt their unique take on their chosen garments.
