The Imaginarium – the new fantastical experience at Village Underground

To anyone who’s a fan of Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus: if you’ve ever wished you could jump into the brilliant and fantastical world of the movie, now’s your chance with a visit to The Imaginarium at Village Underground as the main event of your Christmas party plans.

Produced by Secret Productions – the brains behind Secret Garden Party and Wilderness Festival – and performed by 20 actors from Petersham Playhouse, the rustic warehouse space of Village Underground becomes an immersive theatrical performance venue for one magical night. Guests will stroll through a range of parallel universes evoked among a collection of London Underground tube carriages; meeting strange characters in settings as diverse as a wild jungle, a wartime plane and a Victorian salon. Jazz players, Can Can dancers, Debussy and Lautrec will also be stopping by.

But the theatrical element is the delicious centrepiece of what promises to be an unforgettable party: guest chefs from Urban Caprice will throw a specially tailored lavish feast for you and your guests, there’s a free bar from 7-11pm and the disco riot continues until 2am.

This is a corporate Christmas party unlike any other: so forget about that beer and a burger at Wetherspoons with your colleagues and consider something really special this year. Check out the vid below for an introduction to the weird and wonderful world of The Imaginarium!
