Coming to us from London via Tal Aviv, Spiritwo have brought together a strong arrangement of musical influences for their debut EP Primitive Twinship.

Metal, art house, pop and electro can all be used to classify the three new tracks from this new four-piece band. The first single Soul Mate showcases lead singer Yael Claire Shahmoon’s so-deep-we’re-drowning voice matched with doom welcoming bass would be enough for any suburbanite to throw on all-black and hide from the sun.

That is if it weren’t for the punchy guitar hooks and toe tapping drums that keep our spirits up. Primitive Township is the perfect antidote for the looming teen goth hiding in all of us. Just enough to keep our goth side satisfied, not enough to invest in black hair dye.
