With a successful summer after Earthquake was an instant hit, the artist, a.k.a Daniel Stein, looks to have yet another hit with his new record collaboration with producer Jay Fay and vocals featured from the notorious Ms Dynamite.
Jay Fay’s collaboration with DJ Fresh and the voice of Ms Dynamite results in a reggae, electro house track being created. The whistles and drums that open the track makes you feel as if you’re bang in the middle of the Mardi Gras festival and you find yourself day dreaming about summer 2014 already. However, this concoction of beats did not come with ease as DJ Fresh took it upon himself to research traditional Brazilian drum beats that he could reinterpret and use in the new tune. Hard work and determination in recreating the sounds heard over and over by the musician enabled the track to come together, and his efforts won’t go unmissed as you instantly fall for the track.
Working with the likes of Calvin Harris, Skream and Jack Beats, Jay Fay’s collaboration with DJ Fresh is yet another well established artist he can add to the list of people eager to work alongside him.
The new single, due to be released on February 2nd, is bound to be an instant hit for both winter and no doubt summer with the infectious beat playing in your head all day. No really, ALL day.
2013 has been a huge success for DJ Fresh who has sold almost 2 million records globally and achieved 2 No.1 singles in the UK. Summer in particular has been a busy but endlessly outstanding year for the artist as he performed and headlined at some of the biggest festivals both in the UK and worldwide including Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Wireless and V Festival.
Music is nothing new to Daniel as at the age of just 19 he was the frontman of the renowned drum and bass group Bad Company. Moving through the year has seen the artist become a producer and founder of the record label Breakbeat Kaos, not forgetting an incredible artist and chart topper with songs Louder and Hot Right Now.
The fun does not stop there for the drum and bass pro, who has recently sealed a record deal in America to Columbia Records who have previously signed the likes of Adele, 1D and Calvin Harris. It seems almost inevitable that DJ Fresh will become global, just like those artists have.
