While many people hit the bottle to cope with the pressures of the Christmas season, we’ve decided to adopt a more sophisticated approach to festive imbibing.
As part of our Christmas cocktail series, we present you with The Running Horse Lemon Balm Sours Cocktail.
40ml Williams GB gin
20ml fresh pressed lemon juice
5 lemon balm leaves
15ml beetroot juice
1 egg white
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker or an empty jam jar. Shake hard and fast and strain into a short glass over ice. Always garnish with lemon balm and a slice of fresh lemon.
