Fanfarlo Release Landlocked Video

Fanfarlo have released the music video for their new track Landlocked.

The new record comes off the bands upcoming album Let’s Go Extinct which is due to debut on February 10th.

Directed by Inga Birgisdóttir, the video is set in a snow-covered field which contrasts entirely with the sound of the song.

You feel your nose turn slightly cold as you watch people spin in circles in a frosty looking location, leafless trees fencing the area. The use of frosty colours furthers the wintry look of the video, however the use of bongos, saxophones and exotic guitar strumming takes your mind to a completely different place.

Your dying christmas spirit is suddenly lifted as the prospect of summer warmth makes you break out into a little swaying jig when listening to the track. Full of an endless list of instruments, nothing is robotic or synthesized about this song – everything is fresh, new and full of vitality that’s infectious to the listener.

Landlocked is a fine mix of 90s pop with a modern, Caribbean twist – like Deacon Blue meets Friendly Fires. You have a skip in your buy sildenafil citrate online usa step when you play the track, and heck – you even have to fight the urge to spin mindlessly like the people in the video.

This track will definitely be one for the summer playlist as you anticipate the good weather before the bad has even ended. Whether you’re driving home or on a crowded train, Landlocked puts you at instant ease allowing you to escape the hectic world surrounding you for around 4 minutes, your mind wandering to thoughts of sun, fun and no doubt alcohol.

Fanfarlo’s new track has created great excitement for what’s to come from the five-some for the upcoming year. As the release date for the new single nears, as do the dates for their EU tour for Let’s Go Extinct. So, fancy bringing summer a little early?
