Introducing: Blooms

From lust to love, to letting go: introducing the dark, delicate and introverted sound of Blooms.

UK based artist Blooms caused a stir late last year when she anonymously released her debut track, ‘Skin’ via the Dusk Dais Dawn Soundcloud. Introduced by a mutual friend to Darragh from Sacred Animals, the two started working on songs together and so Blooms was born.

‘Skin’ provides dark but delicate vocals; the introverted sound could nestle amongst acts such as Banks, London Grammar and Bat For Lashes. Her debut EP, ‘If’ is set to be revealed late February, and if the sultry vocals of ‘Skin’ are anything to go by, the potential is huge. ‘I would describe the whole EP as a moment, it captures a  specific period in time,’ says Blooms. ‘It details a relationship from beginning to end – from lust to love to letting go’. With such a promising start, we eagerly await the release of Blooms’ EP.
