Clean & Prep Skin
Cleanse the skin with Bioderma Cleanser and prepare it with Dermalogica Active Moist Moisturizer. Apply Smashbox Face primer all over, but leave your foundation application until after the eye makeup goes on. When working with glitter it’s best to start first with the eyes and then go back and finish with skin to avoid glitter fall out.
Create A Smooth Black Liner
To start the eye makeup, create a fairly thick smooth black liner with a flick on the top lash-line. To do this start with a small angled brush and using Mac Blacktrack gel liner (1) draw from just outside the corner of your lash line into the middle of the lashline. Go over this a couple of times to add thickness. Then turn the brush point the other way and draw from the inner eye corner to the middle lid. Go over a few times with the same movements to thicken up and sharpen the line. To create the classic flick with the Chanel Haute Couture cheap viagra uk next day delivery drama, extend the liner from the corner of the eye upwards. Finish by using a sharp angled brush (like Mac 212) dipped in makeup remover to clean up and sharpen the edge of the flick *practice makes perfect!*
Next use The Makeup Store glitter eyeliners (2) to draw a thick line one inch below the lower lashline, extending up towards the corner of the eye. Go over this a few times to build up thickness. Mix Stargazer glitter fixing gel (3) with The Makeup Store loose pot glitter (4) and paint on top of the glitter eyeliner for added thickness with a little pointed eyeliner brush.
Follow this step by adding fluttery false lashes like Mac no 36 (6) and lots of Mac In Extreme Dimension mascara (5) on top. Finish the eyes by combing through the lashes with a metal lash comb to get rid of any clumps.
Clear Away Glitter Fall Out & Add Base
Clean off any fallen glitter by pressing tape onto the skin to lift away any small specks then apply a medium to full coverage foundation like Illamasqua’s skin base (7) over the face to even out redness and create a smooth base. Follow this by adding your normal concealor on any blemishes or areas of discolouration. Powder your t-zone with a light translucent finishing powder and add a soft blusher to the cheekbones.
Finish the look with a bright lip colour diffused with a nude lip balm. We used Lord & Berry 20100 Lip Shine (9) mixed into a little Mac Pro Lip Erase in Lip Dim. We applied this with a small concealor brush and then patted it in with fingertips for a softer more stain like effect.
