Spindle meets Adi Ulmansky

Sunday 15 June 2014
Words Darren Skene

Adi Ulmansky is a producer, singer and rapper from Israel who can also be described as an electronic mermaid princess who mixes pop, trap, grunge, electronic and a couple other genres to create her very own enticing identity.

Her musical career has taken quite a few different strides since 2007-the year she appeared on the Israel Pop Idol. She then formed the band Lorena B, but shortly after decided to sail the seven seas of music alone and released her debut mixtape Shit Just Got Real in 2013 (listen here). This summer saw the release of her brilliant EP Hurricane Girl. (listen here) Both releases are still on Adi’s SoundCloud.

She’s received a lot of love over here in the UK which has culminated with Adi playing Glastonbury on the Thursday 26th June this year.

Watch Rue interview Adi about the release of ‘Was It You’ video and her forthcoming EP.
