Today we introduce you to contemporary soul singer Bo Saris straight from Haarlem. Now, that ain’t in New York. It’s actually the name of the small town he’s from in Holland. Disappointed? Don’t be, because this Dutchman possesses those funky soul vocals which resound in the stateside streets-his music will make you hit the floor and pull out those moves you learnt from your Dad when dancing around the house to Marvin Gaye.
Following the single ‘She’s On Fire’ and ‘The Addict’ EP, his combination of contemporary modern and classic vintage soul manifests itself clearly in his debut album ‘Gold’ produced by legendary Dre Harris and will be released this 28th July via the revitalised Deram Records.
You can also hear Bo’s vocals on the Chase and Status track ‘Breathless’ and with the likes of Bohdi, Maya Jane Cole and Todd Edwards remixing his tracks, well, you know you’ll be hearing his floor filling vocals around the clubs.
Whichever way, he will get you dancing!
