Progressive fashion brand, Red Vatican, have recently opened their new concept store in Dalston. Following in the subversive footsteps of the brand, the store will showcase an intriguing array of designers that will change on a month-to-month basis. Sporting their edgy and altruistic creations, the brand brings their signature design aesthetic to the East London high street.
Providing support for emerging designers and artists, Red Vatican choose designers that generate original, inventive designs. Known as being the ‘designer label with an ethical backbone,’ RV not only nurture new talent, but they also only work with manufacturers that demonstrate principled practices. And to prove their point even further, a percentage of all their profits made go to charities that seek to improve the working conditions of third world countries. It’s a fashion label with a conscience.
Part shop, part gallery, the store will act as a platform for the designers and artists to showcase their work. Current designers that are being displayed in the shop include Aimme Knight, Born 1215, Imogen Bowman, Mardi Price and Rosie Fowler, who all adapt to Red Vatican’s dark style whilst holding their own unique flair. New designers will be introduced next month to the ever-evolving project that looks set on impressing many with its diverse and innovative concept.
The store has recently opened at 79 Stoke Newington Road where it will be open Tuesday – Sunday. For more information visit the website
