Scotch and Soda. The Dutch fashion company that keeps us looking European chic. Relaunched in 2001, the brand has continued to impress with not only its clothes but its blog as well (check it out). Now they have announced their latest project as part of their denim Amsterdam Blauw line – the Alchemy Blues project.

Inspired by its namesake – Alchemy – Scotch and Soda designers have worked on five Japanese trucker jackets that are perfect for any denim lover. The four basic alchemy elements have been kept in mind during the creative process, intertwining earth, air, fire and water to create the customized pieces that all hold hand-painted artworks.

The brand were stimulated by the theme after making the link between alchemists turning base materials into silver and gold, and denim makers turning cotton into a durable indigo fabric. They then set out to recreate their jackets into authentic collector’s items, transforming and recreating the individual style pieces.

The jackets will be available in selected stores from now, middle of August, where only 250 limited editions will be available. Be sure to check out the website if you want to get your hands on one of these exclusive pieces.
