Get arty for Hozier

Thursday 18 September 2014

Irish musician Hozier has created an opportunity for fans to get involved and express themselves through his music and their own art. After blowing away the BBC radio 1 live lounge at the beginning of this week with his song ‘Take Me to Church’ and Arctic Monkey’s ‘Do I Wanna Know’, the anticipated release of his self-titled debut album is sure to round his week off nicely.

After being touched that fans have been creating their own pieces of artwork using his lyrics and their creativity, he wanted to allow the chance for a piece of fan art to be printed and signed as part of an online competition. Using any medium you wish, you can create a piece of artwork http://www.cheapambienpriceonline.com with the new lyrics that Hozier will be uploading from his social media accounts.

The top picks of each week will be featured on his website and Facebook page, and the creator will win a signed copy of the album. The overall winner will be announced at the beginning of October and will have their artwork printed as a screen print, framed and signed by Hozier then sent back to them!!

To enter Hozier’s fan art competition, upload your creations into the comment boxes of his weekly Facebook posts or tag your tweet with #inaweeklyrics
