PREVIEW: BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL

From the 8th-19th of October there will be 248 film screenings across 17 venues in 12 days – it’s the 58th BFI London Film Festival. One of the most anticipated events of the London calendar, this little beauty of a festival has been delighting us annually since 1953.

The Festival screenings will explore a broad spectrum of genres, concepts and emotions;  love, debate, dare, laugh, thrill, cult, journey, sonic, experiment and treasure. The Best Film Award, the Sutherland Award and the Grierson Award will recognise inspiring and distinctive filmmaking, imaginative directorial debuts and films with cultural or social significance respectively.

You can book online, on the phone (9.30am-8.30pm) or in person (11am-8.30pm) everyday. And don’t panic if the film you want it fully booked as last minute tickets will be on sale 2nd Oct!

Tickets range from £9 (£5 for under 16s) and £35 for opening and closing night galas. Full ticket and price information here or sign up now to the BFI Membership (£45 annual) which grants you priority for film bookings throughout the festival as well as perks all year round.
