The meat festival will be taking place in London’s Tobacco Docks with one aim in mind – thou shalt sample as many original and high quality meat dishes as possible. Last years’ sell out saw 20 chef’s from all over the world produce mouth watering dishes alongside butchers, wine makers and brewers. And this year is set on being even bigger, with 31 of the world’s best chefs cooking up a selection of 42 unique meals. All accompanied by live music, cabaret and street theatre of course.
This year the festival will host with its official partner Sailor Jerry, who give us the chance to tuck in to some tasty rum-infused dishes. On the menu is Danny Cheetham’s Rib O Beef, a slow cooked beef rib that has been cooked over soaked wood chips and smothered in Sailor Jerry’s BBQ Sauce. And if that gives you a taste for something stronger, then SJ will also be offering some old-school spiced rum cocktails. Their Morning Glory cocktail contains spiced rum, tomato juice, Tabasco sauce, lemon juice and a secret spice mix. Not for the faint hearted.
