Tom Prior presents us with his forthcoming debut ‘Bad Advice’ EP this 11th of November with the release of ‘The Altar’ last month, and now his single ‘Bad Advice’ out November 11th. Decisive lyrics telling tales of everyday life with prominent guitar riffs and poignant vocals allowing proximity to the story, and the song.

Also, I’m not a massive fan of making musical comparisons but at some points, in ‘Bad Advice’, the vocal attitude and catchy chords do remind one of that marvellous first Arctic Monkeys album. I guess if you’re making a flattering comparison then it’s OK right? Tom asks “How do you swallow bad advice?” I’d say, you don’t. You follow it through and hope good advice is on the way to redeem whatever bad advice lured you into.
