Introducing: Meatbodies

Meatbodies are “cool guys from L.A” who released their self-titled debut album in the later end of 2014. It’s time to dust off the skateboard and revert back to my Avril Lavigne inspired days listening to this one.

It’s common for a punk rock band like Meatbodies to be able to consistently produce punk greatness like a well-oiled machine, like seriously track after track after track. But it takes a bit more time and effort and ability to be able to mix it up in a psychedelic fashion. Which is exactly what Meatbodies are giving us with their debut album, a long way from their first cassette release. Separating the men from the boys, and the cassette releasers from the big time rockers.

I may be a little bias because they enjoy spaghetti, I enjoy spaghetti – it’s bound to create some sort of affiliation. But if you also feel a spaghetti bond, or are enjoying their new video to track ‘Rotten’ from the LP, then the USA foursome will be in the UK for two dates of their tour this year. The first being March 2nd at Brudenell Social Club, Leeds and also on March 3rd at Birthdays, London.
