MiLK Models @ LFW

We caught up with some of the models who were cast in this season’s London Fashion Week. The girls, who are with Milk Management, gave us an insight into their time walking and presenting in various AW15 shows, what song they’d love to strut down the catwalk to and some inspo for aspiring models out there. 

Name: Meghan Muri
Walking in: CJ Yao and Le Kilt (presentation).
What’s been your highlight from LFW? Walking in CJ Yao with my sister.
Favourite designer from this season’s schedule and why? Orla Keily, such a cute collection and lovely presentation!
What is your dream catwalk song to walk to? Dance, Dance, Dance – Lykke Li (such a good beat).
What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into modeling and LFW? Try your hardest and make sure you’re always presented your best!!

Name: Alise Muri
Walking in: CJ Yao and Le Kilt (presentation).
What’s been your highlight from LFW? Being able to be a part of it for the first time and even being able to cast.
Favourite designer from this season’s schedule and why? I don’t think I can choose one, AW collections are always so amazing.
What is your dream catwalk song to walk to? I have never really thought about it. I’m not too sure.
What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into modeling and LFW? Try hard, practice and don’t stop trying.

Name: Ren Hui
Walking in: Central Saint Martins MA,?TEATUM Jones and Ones To Watch.
What’s been your highlight from LFW? Sense of design.
Favourite designer from this season’s schedule and why? Some designers I liked and appreciated, but Vivienne Westwood has always been my favourite designer. I love her attitude. This season still has special designs and exaggerated makeup, it’s visual enjoyment.
What is your dream catwalk song to walk to? So many. Good models can show different styles of music.
What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into modeling and LFW? To stay in shape (this is the most basic) and confidence. You need hard work and perseverance.

Walking in:? J JS LEE and Wilson PK
What’s been your highlight from LFW??I just loved all the colorful, fluffy, crazy and creative new collections this LFW.
Favourite designers from this season’s schedule? Ashish and Sophie Webster.
What is your dream catwalk song to walk to? Migos ft Drake – Versace. Joke… I don’t mind about the music but it’s always nice when it’s something where we can dance to backstage and give us a bit more energy.
What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into modeling and LFW? Sleep well, eat well and keep your head up. Don’t let anything or anyone distract you from you dream.

Name: Annie Walker-Trafford
Walking in: Natasha Zinko, Ong-Oaj Pairam and Toga
What’s been your highlight from LFW? Wearing the closing look in the Natasha Zinko presentation -it was a long red dress!
Favourite designer from this season’s schedule and why? Faustine Steinmetz – I loved how she did white t shirts and denim with a twist.
What is your dream catwalk song to walk to? Mssingno – Skeezers, it samples Rihanna’s Rockstar 101.
What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into modeling and LFW? Be yourself and be confident!!

Name: Martine Lervik
Walking in: Mariana Jungmann and Daniela Barros.
What’s been your highlight from LFW? The House of Holland catwalk. When the models were stood on a moving belt. Very cool.
Favourite designer from this season’s schedule and why? Ashley Williams, loving the flashback to the 90s!
What is your dream catwalk song to walk to? I’ve walked to my favourite catwalk song once before and it gives you such a nice energy and confidence. My favourite catwalk song is a French song called “Ca Plane Pour Moi” by Plastic Bertrand.
What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into modeling and LFW? Go to castings with a good attitude and don’t give up if some clients don’t want you. There are plenty of designers out there!
