Introducing: Marsicans

You know that moment when the sun breaks through the clouds after a festival rainstorm? That is the exact point where Marsicans’ bountiful guitar licks and upbeat souls will start to play. It would be like a sun-kissed indie party, mixed with the dirty pop of not washing for three days.

Marsicans are a quartet from Leeds who “wanna make your head bop, make you dance until you can’t stop, all we do is play pop” – literally their words. Their latest track ‘Gone In A Second’ provides just this.

The track is available digitally on April 18th as well as being released on vinyl as a special Record Store Day release. The 7” record will be backed with “Something English” and be in limited edition orange.

The guys start a small tour TODAY. They’ll be in Leicester TODAY at The Musician, followed by Fibbers, York – March 17th, Sound Control, Manchester – March 18th, The Leopard, Doncaster – March 19th, The Boderline, London – March 24th, Oporto, Leeds – March 29th, Think Tank?, Newcastle – March 30th, Tooting Tram & Social Club, London – April 11th.
