Hyundai Card have sponsored the creation of a vast library housing rare and contemporary records, with a sprawling underground performance area running beneath it.
The Music Library + Understage features every copy of Rolling Stone since its first issue in 1967 as well as 3,000 vinyl related books. You can even find a copy of the infamous “Butcher Cover” edition of The Beatles’ “Today and Yesterday”.
Located in Hannam-dong, central Seoul, the state-of-the-art facility is the third of its kind from credit card company Hyundai Card, with them having opened separate Travel and Design library’s last year.
“We wanted to provide Koreans with a valuable opportunity to experience a diverse range of masterpieces of music,” said Lee Mee-young, vice president of Hyundai Card’s brand division.
