Azealia Banks will be playing the lead-role in upcoming rap-themed movie It Doesn’t Have To Rhyme, directed by the Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA.

Banks plays Coco, an aspiring rapper who puts her dream on hold to get through college and appease her parents, but in the process discovers an affinity to spoken word.

Appearing alongside her are fellow musicians Common and Jill Scott, as well as Waterloo Road actor Lucien Laviscount and Orange Is The New Black‘s Lorraine Toussaint.
