Introducing: Syron

Friday 15 May 2015
Words Ailis Mara

South East London girl Daisy Tullulah Syron Russell a.k.a Syron, is about to release a new single titled ‘All I need’ – And from the short samples she’s posted on Facebook, we can expect a song strongly influenced by female R’n’B bands from the 90’s.

With a sound that varies from everything like dance and garage, to soul and R’n’B, it’s difficult to put a label on Syron, and why should we have to? The combination of all of the above seems to be working pretty well for her, just have a listen to one of her more dancy songs below, ‘Colour me in’.

The Reminder…

Name: Syron

Hometown: London

Members: Daisy Tullulah Syron Russell

Sounds like: A British and dancey Lady Gaga mixed with Mis-Teeq.

She’s releasing… New single called ‘All I need’, which will be out late May.

You’ve gotta hear: ‘Mainline’, which is a collaboration between Syron and Tensnake.

OMG did you know… She contributed to Rudimental’s song ‘Spoons’ back in 2012.

See her live: May 15th – The Great Escape Festival, Brighton (Psst, that’s today).
