Copson London’s New Film Captures the Perfect Summer

Blog-turned-‘sun-kissed lifestyle’ brand Copson London have released a short film capturing everything that’s great about summer, made in collaboration with Palmeira Pictures. Titled ‘A Young Summer’s Heart’, the six-minute movie follows the story of a young skateboarder (played by amateur skater/first-time actor Villads Larsen) visiting Calabria, the driest region of Italy.

We see Villads skate his way around a quiet seaside town, occasionally stopping to buy a margarita or smoke a cigarette with the local pizzeria-owner’s daughter. He does so wearing – what else? – a wardrobe of casual Copson threads from the brand’s Saverio Dream collection, set against a cool downbeat soundtrack. The film was directed by Romano Pizzichini and produced by Maria Falbo (a former professional skateboarder herself), who wanted to “capture the magic” of the “epic, untouched skate spots” of Calabria, where she spent summers with her family.
