This year marks the 35th anniversary of iconic streetwear brand Stussy, and they’re teaming up with a number of creative names to celebrate. Following a successful fashion collab with Dover Street Market, Stussy has now joined forces with legendary hip-hop four-piece A Tribe Called Quest on a new collection.
ATCQ were one of the key inspirations behind Stussy’s early collections of the 80’s and early 90’s, so the range is designed to bring urban music and style together in the same way again. Stussy tees, hoodies and sweaters are emblazoned with some of the NYC group’s most famous lyrics and artwork, along with caps and bucket hats.
The arrival of the new collection was celebrated with a meet ‘n’ greet in Stussy’s New York Chapter store, where ATCQ members Phife, Ali and Jarobi made an appearance to meet their fans in person. As you can imagine, the limited-edition A Tribe Called Quest x Stussy styles have been flying off the shelves, but you can still grab a piece of the action online.
