We Hosted the KNGLXTRRBL Launch Party at Boxpark – Here’s What Went Down

Monday 12 October 2015

Here at Spindle HQ, we’ve been super excited to work with global streetwear brand Kangol and up-and-coming East London label Terrible Movement, helping the two brands come together on a brand new apparel range – the first clothing collaboration in Kangol’s 76-year history. After months of work and planning, everything came together on Thursday 8th October, when the collection officially launched with a packed-out party at Boxpark, Shoreditch.

Hosted by Kangol’s eponymous music streaming service Radio Kangol, the evening kicked off with a press-only tour of the KNGLxTRRBL pop-up store, before everyone headed up to Boxpark’s top floor for a party that lasted well into the night. Highlights included an ear-shatteringly loud live set by Puppy and Max Bloom of Yuck spinning all manner of tunes on the decks, while Hopstuff beer and XXL pizza slices from Voodoo Ray’s kept everyone in the party mood. In amongst the crowd of the fashion fans, music lovers and East London revellers, we spotted guys from Bella Union, FM Models, Wonderland Magazine, Fabric, Secretly Group, Sex Beat London and Noctis Magazine in attendance – as well as Krishane, the Nefarious skate crew and our BFF Invader Girl! Check out what we got up to in our photo diary below, including fun shapshots from the Instax cameras from the cameras provided by Fujifilm.

Missed out on the party? You can still get a piece of the action at Boxpark – the KNGLxTRRBL pop-up will be open till Monday 19th October.
