Radio Kangol Spotlight: An Interview with Addis Pablo of Rockers International

Monday 05 October 2015

Hailing from Jamaica, Addis Pablo is a talented artist and producer who creates reggae beats with a contemporary vibe. Alongside the solo work he has created under his own name, he has also co-founded a newer project called Suns of Dub. Addis is part of the current force behind Rockers International, a record label, store and museum located on the famous Orange Street in Kingston, Jamaica. Dedicated to the works and traditions of Jamaican culture and music, Addis is carrying on the Rockers International legacy that was started by his father, famed musician Augustus Pablo.

This interview is the latest installation in our ongoing Radio Kangol series. To celebrate the imminent launch of the music streaming service in the UK, these featured artists and record labels are set to be played in-store for the brand new KNGL x TRRBL collab collection – catch it at Boxpark as of tomorrow!
