Calling all Record Heads, Vinyl Fiends and Wax Fanatics; The Barbican is playing host to American multi-media artist Doug Aitken’s immersive ‘Station to Station’ project, which with the help of Vinyl Factory lays out the complete cycle of creation from performance to print.

For 30 days over 100 artists will participate in this unique experiment to reveal the processes behind art and music. All recordings (both planned and improvisational) will be shipped to the Vinyl Factory Press on the ground floor, where limited edition copies will be printed and clad in unique sleeve design, courtesy of acclaimed designers Fraser Muggeridge.

There’s a truly huge amount of cool and original things being created for this event all month long, so head down before you miss it.
