We take a look at some of the best moments, shows and trends to come out of Milan Fashion Week SS17.
Donatella Versace is looking forward into the future of fashion under the Versace belt for SS17. Athleticism was the undoubtedly the focus of the collection, with Versace successfully tying the difficult link between sportwear and every-day, stylish clothing. Versace is one of many design houses now creating collections that cater for the woman on the go, and this season is a big development on easy-to-wear clothing that does not compromise on luxury and taste.

Dolce & Gabbana SS17
As one of the main powerhouses at Milan Fashion Week, Dolce & Gabbanna have taken some of Italy’s best loved foods and added them to a melting pot of festive tropicana. Paying homage to traditional Italian cuisine that the Italians are well-known for celebrating, the fashion house paired this with an exotic, tropical side story with fishnet dresses, seahorses and a palm tree backdrop. Expect spaghetti, pasta, pizza imagery and lobster earrings to dominate SS17’s most memorable D&G looks.
