5 Things You Didn’t Know About… All Boy/All Girl

Seven-piece band All Boy/All Girl make pop fused with elements of classical music, with frontwoman Danielle Lovier’s theatrical vocals over beautiful strings and energetic drums. As well as Lovier, the band consists of soprano vocalist Jessie Rogowski, guitarist Josh Curry, drummer Joey Campanella, cellist Susan Mandel and violist Hannah Levinson. Together, their music is intricately layered, at once moving, delicate, dramatic and powerful. All Boy/All Girl have just released their second full-length album ‘Slagroom,’ continuing their unconventional blend of pop, classical instruments and almost operatic vocals. Fascinated by their unique approach, we unearthed five things you definitely won’t know about All Boy/All Girl.
