UGG has partnered with style icon Alexa Chung as Art Director for their exclusive shoot to celebrate the Classic collection. The images feature fellow creative, stylish women: Cleo Wade, Coco Baudelle, Brianna Lance and Anna Z Gray. Modelling the iconic UGG Classic Mini and Classic Short, as well as UGG’s iconic and timeless pieces, these It-girls demonstrate the many ways the shoes can be styled for everyday.
Cleo Wade is a poet and artist whose work embodies positivity and empowering messages. Believing art is for everyone, she has created numerous public art pieces. She is among the founders of the female arts collective chez conversations, and has contributed to numerous high profile publications. Cleo enthused, “Women like Alexa inspire me hugely. I love women who design their own special world in our world. It is such a beautiful example for the future generations to have role models that exemplify how to live out your individuality.”
Model Coco Baudelle also dabbles with drawing, having had a piece featured at the Montreal Museum of Fine Art when she was only four years old. She was clearly born creatively talented, and has dreams of acting, planning to study at NYFA. She describes her style as “romantic and comfy,” which is certainly matched by the UGG Classic Mini that she models in the shoot. She dreamily explains that, to her, UGG means, “Walking on one of those clouds you see out the window of a plane,” which is a fitting description for how coveted the Classic boots are.
Despite having modelled for numerous coveted brans, Anna Z Gray is mainly a New York based editor and writer, having edited Homepolish’s digital magazine and been featured on publications such as Into The Gloss and Opening Ceremony. She’s currently creating an inspiring female entrepreneurial site, Girls I Know, as well as her own newsletter. Her free-spirited vibes perfectly match the Classic Short boot that she models, and she describes what UGG means to her with the same three words she uses to describe her personal style: “Comfort, warmth and confidence.”
Modelling the iconic UGG Classic Mini and Classic Short, as well as other timeless pieces from the brand, these It-girls demonstrate the many ways the shoes can be styled for everyday. Brianna’s own style has transformed with this career move, often mixing pieces from the new line into her daily wardrobe. She also DJs, where she continues to rock her trademark tomboy style.
Alexa was the ideal choice to Art Direct this shoot with her distinct personal style that has a relaxed, creative vibe, and often combines classic, heritage staples with directional tomboy pieces. She has effortlessly translated this style instinct into the shoot, which showcases how UGG boots and slippers perfectly suit a creative lifestyle. With both maximum comfort and style, these Classic boots will suit any look and take you through your busy day.
