Premiere: Nylon Waves new single ‘Don’t Call Me BAE’

Richie Aquino, Bradly Baldwin, and Kassie White, otherwise known as Nylon Waves are an alternative pop outfit from California that are quite simply a unique act. Their debut single ‘Don’t Call Me BAE’ is a rallying cry for teenagers all round the world. A mild but dramatic statement, the band express their dislike for overused slang labels, that are called out at them personally, time and time again.

90’s music became their soundtracks when they grew up and because of this it was only natural to them to forge a contemporary blend of nineties era of synth pop in their music.

Their beautifully artistic and provocative social media is purely intriguing. The debut single and video melds the trio’s invigorating persona well. Their ‘Initiative’ videos have an innovative approach that is drawing fans into their world. Suited to be different from other artists, their online content is abstract and weirdly mysterious to watch.

With a debut track indulged in cool and social media that holds particularly eye-grabbing visuals, Nylon Waves have explored where other artists simply haven’t.
