London skatewear brand Palace have just released a hilarious new advert for their collaborative collection with adidas. The video mocks typical sportswear adverts, with a German squash player describing what Palace x adidas ‘means to him,’ spelling out an acronym with cheeky qualities such as “libido enhancement,” “accurate sewing” and “extravagant price points.” The parody also see’s some amusing twists on the conventional ‘inspiring’ sports slogans, “I push myself, I challenge myself, I play with myself.” As adidas is spelt out on screen, the actor chants another acronym, “All day ich dream about sportswear.”

It’s another funny advert from Palace, whose last video was an ironic version of cheesy celebrity endorsements, starring an amusingly awkward Jonah Hill promoting the brand’s range of trainers with Reebok, purposefully poorly superimposed into their London store to increase the hilarity.
