Iconic film director Wes Anderson has given us another gem of a short film, this time for H&M. ‘Come Together’ stars regular collaborator Adrian Brody as a train conductor on Christmas Day morning, announcing the train will be delayed to a carriage full of passengers travelling to see their loved ones for the holidays. The corridor of the sleeper train doubles up as a catwalk as the passengers leave their compartments to attend a complimentary Christmas brunch, showcasing H&M’s festive collection.

The ‘Grand Budapest Hotel’ director always manages to retain his unique visual style in commissions, having previously directed adverts for the likes of Prada and American Express. The H&M short features many of Anderson’s directorial trademarks, such as signature long takes and choreographed camera tracking, with the camera gliding from train window to train window to capture each passenger’s response to the news of the delay.
