Palace release another funny parody ad

Palace are on a winning streak with their advertising, releasing yet another hilarious video. The latest advert maintains the same tongue-in-cheek tone of their previous parody videos, the first featuring Jonah Hill ironically endorsing the brand’s collaboration with Reebok, which he pronounced incorrectly. He was pure awkwardness, clunkily superimposed into their London store. Last month saw another funny video for their collection with adidas, mocking typical sportswear ads, their ‘inspiring’ slogans, and spelling out an amusing acronym of Palace that included “libido enhancement.”

The most recent spoof video from the London skatewear brand stars Blondey McCoy, a regular face of the label. Dramatic shots of landscapes and wildlife are cut with McCoy running in the new Palace x adidas collection. “Where do we come from? What are we?” the video opens, as if profound, only to soon joke, “Where are we going? When we get there, will there be WiFi?” With a grand soundtrack of Allegri’s ‘Misereri,’ the advert concludes with another funny slogan, “Palace and adidas – because life is such a mission.”
