SOHN releases title track of new album ‘Rennen’

Musician, songwriter and producer SOHN has unveiled the title track of his upcoming album ‘Rennen,’ which will be released in January. ‘Rennen’ is a German word, which means ‘to run,’ and the new song is a simple but stunning arrangement of analogue layers, while his powerful vocals soar on top. Following recent singles ‘Conrad’ and ‘Signal,’ the title track slows down the tempo and once again demonstrates SOHN’s skill at songwriting and producing.

The new album follows SOHN’s debut album ‘Tremors,’ and was recorded throughout during the night only in northern California. SOHN chose to use only a handful of musical element on each track to emphasise his vocals, melodies and rhythms. Earlier this year, he played five sold-out gigs in London, Berlin, Vienna, New York and Los Angeles, and next year will see him embarking on a European tour.
